Laser eye surgery stories - follow up on Christine's story

It's now been over 12 months since I had my laser eye correction at Visualase and I can honestly say the whole experience has been incredible.

I know so many people say that they wish they had had the treatment years ago - but it's true!! If I'd have known just how simple and straightforward it was going to be, I never would have hesitated and would definitely had it done much sooner.

I was short-sighted and needed my glasses from first thing in the morning to last thing at night. When I first had my treatment, which was LASIK, I was totally amazed at how quickly I could see the results and to be able to wake up in the morning and see the alarm clock was just super.

One of the biggest benefits was going on holiday that summer without all the palaver of contact lenses & solutions & prescription sunglasses etc... To be able to go on the beach and swim was fabulous.

Twelve months have passed now and I guess the novelty has worn off slightly so I do have to remind myself how bad my eye sight was before my laser eye surgery and not take my new eyesight for granted.

I feel that Visualase gave me a "vision upgrade" and I will be forever grateful. The staff there so friendly and professional and it was pleasure getting to know them over my twelve months of aftercare that I had.
