Dr Stephen Doyle is originally from the North-West, having been born in Manchester, educated in Bolton he now lives in Chorley, Lancashire, with his family.Dr Doyle graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1973 and did his ophthalmic training in both London and Manchester. He worked for many years as an ophthalmologist in the Corneal Unit at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
He has published on various aspects of refractive surgery, lectured for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and regularly gives talks on refractive surgery to groups of doctors, optometrists and other professionals.
He is a keen walker so you may catch him for a quick consultation up in the hills of the Lake District if you’re lucky!

Dr Hynes attended Cambridge and London Universities and graduated in Medicine in 1980. He commenced his Ophthalmic training at Moorfields Hospital in 1988.
Dr Hynes moved to Manchester to work in a busy Laser Eye Clinic in 1994 and now lives in Cheshire with his wife and 3 children.
He has presented work at the annual European Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meetings. He has been carrying out LASIK since 1999 and has carried out over 12,000 procedures.
He has worked with Dr Doyle since 1994 in the development of surface and flap based laser surgery techniques.
His interests include aviation and photography as well as music.
