Meet our laser eye surgeons

We believe we have two of the finest ophthalmologists in the UK working with us here at Visualase, who between them have performed over 25,000 procedures, and bring a wealth of clinical experience and expertise to the table.

Ophthalmologist, MBBS, BSc (Hons), MRCOphth

Dr Doyle did his ophthalmic training in both London and Manchester and worked for many years as an ophthalmologist in the Corneal Unit in the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He has published a plethora of papers on various aspects of refractive surgery, and has completed over 20,000 laser eye surgery procedures.

Mr Manoj Mathai


Mr Manoj Mathai

Ophthalmologist, MBBS, DO, MS, FRCS (Edinburgh)

Mr Mathai graduated from Kasturba Medical College, one of the premier medical universities in India. He commenced his training in the UK in 1992 and was awarded the Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1994. He helped establish Visualase in 2001 and has been performing refractive laser surgery ever since.
