The amount of time you need off work following laser treatment does depend on the type of laser procedure you have and specific advise can be given by your treating doctor who performs your initial consultation.

The most common method of treatment by far is LASIK, simply because the recovery rate is so quick and the vast majority of patients are at least driving standard, if not better, at their day one post operative check up.

We would generally recommend taking at least 24 - 48 hours off your normal routine and there are no restrictions on when you can fly, so you could go back to work in a day or two.
