Jayne is keeping a diary of her thoughts and journey through the process of getting laser eye surgery completed.

Today Jayne came into the clinic for her initial consultation. Jayne shares her initial thoughts with us about winning and what it means to her:

11th July 2011, 22.30pm
Just off to bed. I've got my consultation in the morning with the surgeon, Dr Stephen Doyle and I'm so excited I don't think I'll be able to sleep. I've a million questions floating around in my head and as I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was about nine years old, I cannot believe that I could soon be without them. I just hope I'm suitable. I'll update you after my appointment.....here goes....I'm sooooo excited xx
