Can I go diving after laser eye surgery? is question which we have seen on one of the leading diving forums.
If you are a keen scuba diver you might want to think about laser eye surgery. You can get your diving mask lens changed so it fits your prescription so you can see when you go diving.
However if you're an avid diver you might want to think about having laser eye surgery. Imagine just being able to put your kit on and not worrying about if you've got your prescription diving mask which will help you see clearer when diving!
The main question is how quickly you can get back to diving afterwards. The advice we give is that it is possible to go diving as soon as three - four weeks after laser eye correction. I would always seek advice directly from your treating surgeon for clarification though as there are always exceptions.
